Vision Statement
The WGS library vision is to ignite lifelong learning and discovery in every student. By building a love for reading and critical thinking, we aim to empower our students to become confident, compassionate, and proactive members of the community equipped to face the future with creativity and resilience.
All students visit the library once a week for 30-minute library instruction and book checkout.
Kindergarten through sixth-grade students also receive weekly 30-minute Makerspace instruction in the library. Makerspace instruction includes learning to use the design thinking process, coding, robotics, chess, and graphic design.
